I don’t have to try too hard to source new entries for the Geneadictionary, some just jump out at me while I am reading social media.. In fact I have around a hundred entries lined up for future publishing.

Today while reading Google+ I saw this post from Tony Proctor which sent me to the Gendisasters site. From that site I noted thier subtitle which defines Gendisasters.

Gendisasters : events that touched our ancestors’ lives

The Gendisasters site states that it has “Newspaper articles about Train Wrecks, Fires,Floods, Shipwrecks, Plane Crashes, Accidents and other disasters.  Most of these articles list the dead and injured or missing. Use the Search Box to search for your ancestors or Browse the articles by type of disaster, state or year.”
